About the event
This is a vinyasa yoga class with familiar poses and flows throughout. Adding weights or kettle balls, maybe even stretch bands and the exercise ball, to this practice gives opportunity to further build strength and steadiness with light repetitions.
When working the upper body, we may utilize shoulder presses, chest presses, bicep curls, tricep kickbacks and more. When working the lower body, we might work on strength building by holding poses such as the crescent lunge, warrior 2, prayer squat, and adding dips and pulses, or even focus more on the glutes. The core will be a focus most every week, and full body strengtheners will also be included, with a variety of planks and other fun, challenging yoga asanas.
