Functional & Integrative Wellness Consultation

Functional & Integrative wellness practitioners are client-centered and look at the roots of a problem that affect total functioning. We integrate traditional Western medicine practices with integrative approaches, focusing on nutrition, movement, emotional health, laboratory testing, epigenetics, and your personal story. Our approach often includes therapeutic diet and movement recommendations, combinations of botanical medicine and supplements, sometimes pharmaceuticals.  We will guide you in detoxification, somatic therapies, identifying and honoring your healing needs, and creating a life you adore. We do offer functional consults for pediatric clients as well.

All new clients start here with a functional & integrative consult.

Primary Care Services

Care more like your grandmother experienced, with a community doctor she trusted and one who respected her individual needs and ideals - whether you need to establish a relationship with a primary provider for annual visits or need someone to help manage your chronic dis-ease, I am happy to support like-minded families, especially the littlest ones! To better understand my areas of expertise, explore writings on my blog and peek at the programs I have created for clients. My approach to care is better detailed below and I have a lengthy list of Questions & Answers here..

Simple Problem

Established clients are offered quick, convenience-based visits for those day-to-day health issues that present unexpectedly, such as a cough, sore throat, belly upset, fever, or rash.

My Approach

My desire is to see each person become their most favorite self and live a life full of vitality. Optimal health is not complicated in itself, but it can be exceedingly challenging to implement on your own, particularly when battling chronic disease, trauma, or while juggling a very demanding life. A bit of a wounded healer myself, I can empathize.

My training spans conventional medicine, functional and integrative medicine, botanical medicine, and mind/body therapies, including yoga and mindfulness.

My passion is connection. I seek to meet people where they are and develop a relationship of mutual respect so they feel safe in my care, but also, my aim has always been to raise the standards of care for clinical practice for which I have received multiple awards, including Indiana Nurse of the Year.

Thirty years of experience, five degrees, dual certificates, a plethora of life experiences, and a great deal of curiosity has allowed me to create educational programs for my clients that guide them step-by-step through their healing process and not just physically, also emotionally,  mentally, and spiritually.

A truly holistic approach is not often offered in either primary care or even functional medicine. We can't truly be healed until we appreciate all layers of ourselves.
